SHELL RESILIENCE TRAINING & REFLECTIVE LEARNING PROGRAM

SHELL RESILIENCE

This training session will comprise of the following sessions:

  • What is Resilience?
  • Change is a Part of Living
  • Looking at Situations in a Different Way
  • Take Care of Yourself
  • Take Decisive Action

a) Theory and General Learning Procedures through Shell Resilience Program.
b) Interactive session with all the relevant departments / personnel will follow, during which we present and analyze real case studies, via which we intend to improve your employees’ response to difficult or stressful situations.

SHELL REFLECTIVE LEARNING (RL)

The service will comprise of 2 separate training courses:

a) LEARNING FROM INCIDENTS (LFI)

This is a session which takes place on board your vessels and is coordinated by our Trainer - Supervisor, a group of people discusses a real case study which has led to high consequence outcomes. LFI’s aim is to encourage the group to embed learnings from incidents through open dialogue.

b) LEARNING ENGAGEMENT TOOLS (LET)

This is session is an interactive session as well. However, the engagement’s (LET) purpose, is trainees to discuss their experiences on various topics which relate to vessels’ daily operations (such as engine failures, moorings, lifeboat operations) in order to gain a better understanding on important issues which may happen in the future and thus improve employees’ and crew’s preventive attitude and reactions to potential incidents.
