Development of a ship specific “ECDIS Procedures and Instructions Manual” providing the necessary guidelines for the safe use of the ship specific ECDIS for a number of navigational processes such as charts correction and charts management, passage plan evaluation – recording – execution – monitoring etc. The ECDIS manual shall be developed by taking also into account the manufacturer’s operational manual.
